The Butler County Health Care Center is a rural Critical Access Hospital that was originally opened in November 1973. Since then, the Center has undergone several renovations and additions.
This hospital addition included new areas for emergency services, laboratory work, and medical records. Once Butler County Health Care residents made the move to the new additions, the remodel area was phased into multiple areas to accommodate the hospital's needs. The construction in the radiology and administration areas was fast-tracked and occured in conjunction with the final renovations to the nurse station, stress test, and observation rooms.
