Sampson completed the County City building in 1998. It joins two other buildings on the campus. The original county city building completed in 1969 and the Lancaster County Intake and Detention Facility completed by Sampson Construction in 1991. The County City building is a mixed-use building for the Lancaster County and City of Lincoln, Nebraska. The design matches the adjacent structure with similar arrangement of windows and doors on the elevations. The structure is a steel frame with pre-cast panels and glass.
