The 55,000 SF facility is a steel structure consisting of two levels. The interior includes offices and a command center on the first level. The overall finishes give this building a professional and modern look, which include: ceramic tile, carpet, and VCT. The exterior walls are load bearing metal studs with prefabricated metal trusses. Extra measures have been incorporated into the design to handle large detonations. The exterior of the building is a combination of split face concrete block and cement based siding. The facility was approved in August 2011 for LEED Silver Certification.
