Esther L. Kauffman Academic Residential Center at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln is home to the J.D. Edwards Honors Program. The center includes state-of-the-art classrooms, housing for undergraduate students, dining facilities, meeting rooms, and presentation facilities. The scope of this project included a three story wing that include eight classrooms/labs and a dormitory. There are a total of 65 living units which houses 116 residents. There is an 85 foot underground pedestrian tunnel that connects the three story wing to the Selleck Quadrangle Dining Hall. Steel framed structure with a flexi core floor was used to frame this establishment. The exterior is masonry with brick veneer and limestone.
