The one-story 5,600 SF west addition included: general classrooms; science room; art room; restrooms; mechanical rooms; new electrical service; basement housing the well field header; mechanical units; water service; and fire riser. The one-story 3,200 SF east addition included: general classrooms; restrooms; and mechanical rooms. Brick and architectural precast finishes were used on the exterior of these additions. A Built-Up Roofing system with skylights that flawlessly blended with the skylights in the existing portions of the building was a unique finish of this project. Renovations and upgrades were also a part of the project which included: geothermal well system; fire sprinkler system throughout; fire alarm; intercom and phone/data systems; interior lighting; new finishes at the administrative offices, reception area, cafeteria and kitchen areas, library, and classrooms; and new exterior site lighting.
