The Greenlief Training Site project added 65,000 SF to the local United States Army Reserve Unit’s existing Army National Guard Readiness Center in Hastings, Nebraska.  This addition was constructed of permanent masonry concrete block with brick veneer, concrete footings, flooring, and roofing to match the existing facility.  Physical security measures were incorporated into the design which required maximum feasible standoff distance from roads, parking areas, and vehicle unloading zones.  The project included an assembly / mess hall, 3 classrooms, library, conference rooms, break / vending room, 2 locker rooms with showers, full kitchen, storage spaces with wire mesh caging, and maintenance bays and offices for both the National Guard and Army Reserve.
