Each suite in the Village includes a full kitchen with all appliances and spacious living area. Unique design elements of this project include a storage room, and large entryway with storage throughout. This complex included two buildings with one central mechanical heat-exchange which is served by a closed loop heat-pump system. there were many challenges to this project, such as: restrictive jobsite that was adjacent to three existing residence halls and high-traffic walkways while classes were in session. High power electrical lines on two sides of the site were an obstacle as the structures were erected.
