Sidner Ice Arena

The Sidner Ice Arena was an addition to the Fremont YMCA and includes locker rooms, administrative offices, and a spacious lobby. During the design phase, the YMCA board elected to eliminate the concrete slab under the ice, making this an ice-only facility.
This arena is a player oriented facility with large spacious locker rooms that allows ample room for equipment and athletes. Besides the locker rooms, it also includes administrative offices, a large gathering room, spacious lobby, and concession area. The construction of the ice arena is a pre-engineered metal building with load bearing masonry walls and EPDM roof.
