The first phase of construction occurred after St. Mark’s purchased an existing building to relocate their growing congregation.  Phase I of construction included an addition and improvements to the site and parking to allow for church services and activities.  A family life center, a full size gymnasium (served as Sunday service sanctuary), restrooms, kitchen, and multipurpose room were all incorporated into this project.   The second phase of construction involved the building of the new sanctuary.  The original design had a seating capacity of 1,500 and the structure was designed to incorporate a future 500 seats in the balcony.
