This project represents Nebraska and the new fair grounds were designed to bring the State Fair back to its agricultural roots. These facilities will also provide year-round economic opportunities for event hosting in the 540,000 SF of new livestock and commercial exhibition space.
The State Fair project consists of seven pre-engineered metal exhibition buildings totaling nearly 540,000 SF, which spanned across the 30 acre site. This project was fast-tracked and completed in 12 months. All of the spaces, with the exception of those where animals will be housed, have a temperature controlled climate. These facilities will also provide year-round economic opportunities for event hosting in the new livestock and commercial exhibition space. Events like these will provide an economic boost to the Grand Island area and provide ongoing attractions that will have a positive impact on the entire state.
