University of Nebraska West Memorial Stadium Improvements

The expansion to the University of Nebraska Memorial Stadium added 1,218 additional club level seats and doubled the concession stand availability. A new field turf was also installed, making NU the first Division-1 program to use the synthetic surface.

The 1997 Expansion included the Don Bryant Media Facility and 42 suites, club seating, a stadium-view lounge, new press box, and renovated concourses, concessions, and restrooms. The renovations raised the capacity of Memorial Stadium from 72,700 to 73,918 and doubled the number of concessions on both the East and West sides of the Stadium.
