The additions to the Wilber-Clatonia school included a single-story building that provided a new entrance for the high school and updated the common spaces between the high school and elementary school.
The new 44,000 SF new addition was seamlessly added to the existing high school that was constructed in the 1970s. Office space, storage areas, a gymnasium with locker rooms and athletic offices, a library with a computer lab, and a cafeteria addition were all a part of the elementary school addition. New food service equipment was added to the existing cafeteria area which previously served the high school. A new loading dock area was added and a new track surface was installed on the exterior. New mechanical systems were added to the elementary addition, which included heat pumps that conditioned the new classrooms and a geothermal well system.
