North Platte Recreation Center Addition & Renovation

The North Platte Recreation Center, a 130,000 SF multi-phase project, is set to revitalize the nearly 50-year-old community hub. Sampson Construction will lead the transformation, ensuring the existing facility remains operational during construction. Key additions include a modern aquatics center with activity and competition pools, a 30,000 SF indoor turf facility for athletic endeavors, and an upgraded gymnasium complete with an elevated walking track. The project also encompasses renovations to the existing locker rooms and gym, addressing the aging infrastructure and ensuring the facility meets the evolving needs of the community. Upon completion, the revitalized North Platte Recreation Center will boast an expanded exercise/fitness space, a dedicated community space/indoor classroom, and a convenient drop-off center for children. This comprehensive project will not only enhance community recreational facilities but also promote health and wellness for generations to come.
