Pre-Construction Services

26 Our role during design is to support the architects with current pricing, and scheduling models for selected construction methods, materials, systems, and building equipment. Our team will provide input and recommendations that are focused on the cost, schedule, and constructability of the project. Our team will guide the owner, architect, and construction team, “project partners” through estimating, value engineering, and all design support exercises.  This level of involvement is necessary to ensure that the entire project team is making informed decisions and obtaining the best quality and value from each construction dollar.

In preparation for the bidding process, we will market your project and generate interest among local and regional subcontractors and suppliers.  Our relationships with trades across the midwest and western states, past project data, and an in-house estimating team that is in-tune with current market prices is an asset to every project that we support.  Our team will organize the bidding environment to ensure that it is “open” and “competitive.”  We will also conduct a thorough review of bids and make award recommendations based on criteria and qualifications that have been agreed upon with the owner.
