Kennedy Square West/MLK Square

MLK Square is a completed four-story, low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) project located at the northwest and southwest corners of 30th and Emmett. The project included demolition of the existing building, with the northwest lot designated for overflow parking.

The 62,000 SF development features common areas and tenant spaces on the first floor, with the second through fourth floors housing 13 units per floor. Constructed with wood framing and an exterior of brick, glazing, and siding, the building offers a mix of 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments designed to provide quality, affordable housing. MLK Square supports the community by addressing critical housing needs and contributing to neighborhood revitalization.
