Great Plains Health - Rehab Center Expansion

This ambitious project involves a comprehensive remodel and expansion of the former Great Plains Health Sports & Therapy Center, transforming it into the cutting-edge GPH Rehabilitation Center designed to significantly enhance rehabilitation services for patients of all ages and specialties across western and central Nebraska. The remodeled center now features expanded treatment areas and a host of specialized amenities, including a dedicated Pediatric Therapy Suite—a custom-designed, welcoming, and sensory-friendly space tailored for children's unique rehabilitation needs. Specialized facilities also include a Neurology Gym equipped with advanced technology like one of Nebraska's first ZeroG® 3D units for gait and balance retraining; expanded specialty areas for occupational therapy (with an ADL suite simulating real-life environments), speech-language pathology, and hand therapy; a large Aquatic Therapy Pool for hydro-rehabilitation; and an Orthopedic & Sports Performance Gym featuring specialized surfaces and cutting-edge strength and conditioning equipment. The completed renovation delivers a superior, modern, and convenient healing environment, ensuring patients receive multidisciplinary, high-level physical, occupational, and speech therapy care in a patient-centered location.
