Peru State College - Indoor Recreation Complex

Project ROAR at Peru State College is a major upgrade to the college’s athletic and recreational facilities. This 104,000 SF project features a multi-sport complex highlighted by an 85,000 SF air-supported dome. The dome houses a 50-yard football field with two end zones, two full basketball courts, and an 8,000 SF weight area. Additionally, an 8,000 SF amenities building supports the baseball and softball programs, including locker rooms, coaches’ offices, concessions, restrooms, and therapy space.

Our team carefully managed the project to meet the budget through scope reductions and strategic adjustments in collaboration with the owner and architect. By doing so, we brought the project within budget and identify scopes of work to add back as funds allow. Funded by $14.6 million in combined contributions from alumni, friends, and the State of Nebraska, Project ROAR enhances the college’s athletic programs and creates a premier destination for both competition and recreation.
