Sampson Construction installed the last steel beam in a “topping out” ceremony at Kelly Walsh High School April 22nd. In addition to construction company logos, student and staff signatures cover the 11,000 pound beam which was hoisted into place during the public ceremony. Placing the final beam topped with a small evergreen tree and an American flag is considered a rite of passage and marks a milestone in the project. Construction of the 300,000 SF high school is on track for completion summer 2016.
