Ribbon Cutting and Dedication at Kelly Walsh High School

Kelly Walsh High School had a ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony Monday, August 22nd. The event was open to the public, with attendees including members of the founder, Kelly Walsh’s family, Natrona County School District Board members, Wyoming State Facilities Department representatives, Sampson Construction team members, architect representatives, school staff, students, parents, and community members. While the main portion of the 300,000 SF school is complete, construction continues on the last phase which includes renovation to the existing theater, a music addition adjacent to the theater, landscaping and hardscaping, a 25,000 SF pool renovation and demolition of the original school building to allow for a new parking lot. Portions of this phase will be complete in late 2016, with the music addition complete mid-September, 2017 and all remaining components to wrap up by June 2018.
