Sampson participates in 2013 OSHA Region VII Safety Stand Down Preventing Falls in Construction Event

On September 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., Sampson Construction participated in an OSHA Safety Stand Down sponsored by the Regional Office of OSHA in Kansas City, Missouri, at the Knoll Hall, Phase II and Phase III Residence Halls on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus.

Falls are the leading cause of injury and death in construction. Each year, on average, between 150 and 200 workers are killed and more than 100,000 are injured as a result of falls at construction sites.

Sampson Construction took the opportunity to raise awareness to the construction workers to the dangers of falls and the efforts that everyone working together can take to prevent these tragic and needless losses of life or injuries.
