McCook Armed Forces Reserve Center

When the existing, nearly 50 year old McCook Readiness Center failed to meet current facility requirements, the Nebraska Military Department was in need of a new and improved building. The new 35,000 SF facility provides the necessary administrative, training and storage areas required for the U.S. Army Reserve and Nebraska Army National Guard to achieve proficiency in required training tasks. A few of the features include administration offices; a mail room; classrooms; locker rooms with showers; a kitchen; storage; an assembly hall; a weapons vault and weapons simulator room.
