Rushmore Plaza Civic Center

This 100,000 SF addition and 13,000 SF remodel, located in Rapid City, South Dakota, was completed in 21 months. A key component of this project was coordinating efforts with the Civic Center's events that continued throughout construction. The addition and remodel included site work; engineered fill; concrete grade beams; floors and sidewalks; CMU and brick masonry; precast concrete stadia; structural steel; bar joists; steel decking; EIFS; membrane roofing; steel stud framing; drywall; painting; ACT ceilings; aluminum storefront; wood doors; hollow metal; carpet; athletic flooring; ceramic tile; ice making equipment; arena seating; as well as electrical and mechanical work.
