State Fair Park - Fonner Park

The Fonner State Fair Park is situated on 30 acres, encompassing seven pre-engineered metal exhibition buildings totaling nearly 540,000 SF. This project was fast tracked and completed in 12 months. Site work included underground utilities, landscaping, walking paths, paved sidewalks to each of the buildings, as well as concrete and crushed rock parking areas. With the exception of the livestock buildings, all of the spaces have a temperature controlled climate.

The Cattle/Sheep/Arena Building is the largest exhibition venue of its kind in the United States. The building covers 270,000 SF and features a crowd favorite livestock birthing pavilion in the Sheep Barn. The pavilion provides an educational experience related to animal agriculture. Other areas of interest in the building include a media center, an ice cream parlor, milking parlor and barn bar. A second level mezzanine area is dedicated to social events and private parties to be held during the festivities.
