Duncan Shipping/Vehicle Maintenance

An old hanger and abandoned building underwent an extensive renovation as part of the Duncan Aviation campus in Lincoln, Nebraska.

The first phase of the renovation included re-purposing an old hanger into a vehicle maintenance building. The building is 5,471 SF and received a new insulation system, light fixtures and HVAC for office spaces. The entire structure was cleaned up with a fresh coat of paint.

The second phase included 9,620 SF for the shipping and receiving building. After the interior was razed, this structure received a 300 SF addition for a new dock, equipment, new insulation, light fixtures and a HVAC system. A new fence and gate were installed after the completion of 34,000 SF of concrete paving and 4,200 SF of asphalt paving. Additional work was done with the asbestos abatement company to clear the building.
