MPCC Health & Sciences Addition

This career technology education wing project for Mid-Plains Community College added 11,500 SF of new space and renovated 500 SF of existing space to provide expanded learning opportunities for nursing and EMT students. The addition included an EMS lab and mock-up hospital rooms for hands-on training for first responders. The highlight of the project is a 3D simulation lab, which is one of the first of its kind in a trade school, offering a full immersion learning experience for simulating hospital and emergency situations.

Additionally, the new wing features state-of-the-art laboratories equipped with cutting-edge technology, providing students with hands-on learning experiences that mirror real-world healthcare setting. These modern facilities offer an immersive educational environment where students can gain practical skills and insights that are crucial for their future careers in healthcare. Overall, this project not only enhances the educational experience for students but equips them with the knowledge and expertise needed for successful careers in healthcare.
