Southeast Wyoming Welcome Center

This 27 acre site features 35,000 SF of enclosed space and is situated on US Interstate 25, Exit 4. The Southeast Wyoming Welcome Center serves as a 24/7 rest area and includes a gallery, office and storage spaces.

The site underwent significant landscape improvements including the erection of two large landforms with native grasses and wildflowers;  narrow-leaf cottonwood trees; a rest area; picnic shelters; one mile crushed concrete pedestrian paths; two acres of dog park; bench structures and other site furnishings.

The gallery includes interactive learning along with life-size elements that resemble the wildlife and activities found throughout Wyoming. It also showcases earthy finishes, such as polished concrete floors, exposed rammed earth, board-formed concrete walls and wood-slat ceilings.
