Severance High School

Sampson Construction was awarded Severance High School - a 168,000 SF new high school with a two-story academic classroom wing, school administration offices, media center, band/vocal rooms, cafeteria, auditorium, two gymnasiums - one full-size and one auxiliary, and a full-service kitchen. Additional program components include dedicated rooms for wrestling, weightlifting, dance/cheer, wood shop, and 2D and 3D art.

 

The site includes a fieldhouse with home and visitor locker rooms, concessions, baseball and softball fields, lacrosse and soccer fields, four tennis courts, a football stadium complete with a turf field and track and an area for field events (shot put, discuss, long/triple/high jumps and vault.) Overall, the project footprint is more than 45 acres.
