Chappelow Magnet School

In the fall of 2019, voters in the Greeley School District 6 passed a bond package which funded the 61,000 SF renovation and 28,000 SF addition to the Chappelow Magnet School. This facility was originally built in 1986 having a max capacity of 660 students and has now been upgraded to 725 students. The 3,000 SF performing arts addition seats 350, the school now also features a custom art display area, two new maker labs, and a 5-8 station media lab. The security entry, reception area, administration area and playground were all completely renovated, as well as existing rooms, all lighting fixtures, and upgrades to the finishes, carpet, paint, and ceilings. These changes were instituted to help the Chappelow Magnet School achieve their vision of “developing the interests and talents of students in the arts and enhancing all disciplines through an integrated approach allowing students to achieve artistic and academic success.”

Safety was paramount from the beginning of the project since the performing arts/classroom addition tied into our existing building where we house over 700 students. They have exceeded my expectations in safety and cleanliness, they have simply done an outstanding job... I appreciate Sampson Construction and all of those who have contributed to this successful project. I would not hesitate to partner with Sampson Construction again on future projects.
