Educare Early Childhood Center

Educare Winnebago is the result of a local partnership led by Winnebago Public Schools and the Winnebago Tribal Council. It's supported by the Buffett Early Childhood Fund, a program that prepares at-risk children for school. The buidling is 32,000 SF and is uniquely shaped with two wings shaped as wedges. The school’s curriculum combines Educare’s best practices with local culture and traditions. In addition to serving as a child care facility for 0-5 year olds, the facility features a cultural resource room that houses events, community college classes and after-school tutoring programs for K-3rd grade students from Winnebago Public Schools. The community room also serves as the storm shelter and training room.
