Campbell County Health

The Campbell County Health project included a 300-stall parking garage, building expansion and 64,000 SF of renovations. This five-story hospital, located in Gillette, Wyoming, was renovated to include finish upgrades, a helipad and pharmacy. The master planning for the hospital was done by HDR; under a different administration, Sampson Construction and an out-of-state architect were hired as design builders.

In June 2010, construction began on the 170,000 SF addition and 64,000 SF remodel to Campbell County Memorial Hospital. This project was completed in three phases. The first phase included the construction of the new three-level parking structure, capable of supporting one additional level and a covered walkway from the parking garage to the main entrance.

The second phase added a three-level hospital addition to house administration, guest services, nutrition services and space for a dining room expansion. The second phase also included a 36-bed medical/surgical unit shell, a helipad with elevated walkways and a stair/elevator addition. The third and final phase consisted of 35,100 SF of renovations in the kitchen and dining room, patient registration area, retail/pharmacy and walk-in clinic.
