The Scheels retail outlet in Overland Park, Kansas included the construction of a new 257,000 SF facility that houses sports, sportswear and footwear under one roof. Included are offices, training areas, storage space and a loading dock. Special attractions of the building include a 16,000-gallon saltwater aquarium at the main entrance; a 65 foot, 16 car operating ferris wheel; a wildlife mountain; restaurant; a home décor and gift lodge; a shooting gallery; and sports simulators.
